KERALA

You may be bewildered about” what to do this vacation”?? Simple, just book a ticket and land into the cavalier, angelic, historic, so called “god’s own country”. In a dilemma? Ha Ha i meant to say about the heavenly “KERALA” situated along the western ghats. This place is contributing in a very glib and remunerative way to INDIA’s economy through tourism. Almost  all people expect silence and inventiveness in nature. And this place is very allure, and their are several  factors which makes this place so enticing.

1)Pious trips:-First of all to have a guarded trip, the almighty needs to give us support. So you gotta visit the richest temple of INDIA and one amongst the world’s , than any other place first. Yes i am talking about “SRI PADMANABHASWANY TEMPLE “. There lies a great antiquity behind this temple, people say that there are considered to be 6 vaults in this shrine, and vault B has not yet been opened by anybody because the paintings outside it depicts that anyone who tries to open it will be killed by some kind of natural calamity and it is believed that this vault is being protected by a snake....

2) At peace between thousands.. The most important of temple shrines in Kerala and with some mentionable architecture. Easily accessible by train, for the town has a railway station. Alternately one could arrive at Thrissur or Palakkad and from both places, the temple town is just about 2 1/2 hours away. If you do wish to have a good darshan, make it to the Queue by 2 AM and go with the second lot.

3) a)The branded backwaters:- The people need to relax after a day’s great trip. So one of the best ways to go for boating. These backwaters of KERALA have great luxurious boats which takes you around kerala’s coast leisurely.
4)Things to explore:-The folklore museum of kerala is one of the greates and richest wealth of history it has. Step into this three-storied edifice and take a stroll down history where every waft that you encounter is scented with times gone by, its culture and heritage. This is Kerala Folklore Theatre and Museum at Thevara, Ernakulam - a unique venture to preserve the splendid folklore wealth of the State. The first floor with the Cochin architectural style is sagaciously named askalithattu, which means a floor for play and it displays costumes of various traditional and ritual dance forms of Kerala like Theyyam, Kathakali, Ottanthullal, and Mohiniyattam. Kanjadalam; or lotus petal is the name given to the second floor, which is adorned with fascinating mural paintings and has a chiseled wooden ceiling made of 60 frames. After this you need to expore yourself....

b)Kayaking and canoeing:-You might have had a glimpse about narrow streamlined boats, but this place takes you live into the action and makes your dream come alive. You can be undaunted as a guide also will travel with you , i think this will be an opportunity for you to make an audacious attempt.
3)Ravenous???:- I don’t know whether you will be adjusted to this or not but one main ingredient of any food is COCONUT and as you know this place is called as the land of spices, KERALA’s cuisine is sharpened by its pungency and the use of tamarinds. Vegetarians can’t have a variety in food but one thing which they must enjoy is the taste of “PUTTU” so it will be a catch 22 for them  but non vegetarians need  not worry coz you have a variegated menu grossing in KERALA......

This was just the edge of KERALA but will get you deeper later...Hope you enjoyed living in kerala for a transient time!!
