This is a village situated in the state of Maharashtra. Situated in Nevasa taluka inAhmednagar district, the village is known for its popular temple of Shani, theHindu god of the planet (graha) Saturn. Shingnapur is 35 km fromAhmednagar city.
The fact about this village is that no house in this village has doors and people over there don't keep their precious valuables in a locker or something.People tell that there is a story behind this........
Ones upon a time in this village there was some tragedy similar to flood but not actually one.At that time a Big stone came and got struck to a tree.Many people people tried to remove it but they couldn't, so they built a big temple right at that place.The people who go to that temple should enter the temple with nothing else than wearing a towel.And while returning a person should not turn back and see the temple.
They should kepp walking towards the exit.....
Thats why it came to be known as one of mysterious places in India.....
